You just created another problem.
Trucredit will charge your credit card fees.
Go to annual credit report.com next time.
Reports are free - they always have been.
I'm not sure why people keep falling for paying for them.
Keep an eye on your reports.
You will never, ever be responsible for one penny if your idenity is stolen.
If someone bought a home under your name, you simply have to dispute it.
You may even have to make a phone call or write a letter at most.
If you are afraid, go to all 3 of your reports, and put a fraud alert on all your reports.
If they don't allow you to, at least make a note on your reports that you feel your identity has been stolen.
Then go and put a freeze on all 3 of your reports - about 4 bucks / report / year.

Just because it is your name, doesn't necessarily mean that it is tied to you (of course it also may be a case of fraud). Find out who has the loan for the property and contact them to verify what info was used in applying for the loan. You may have to use a real estate attorney, but the loan originator should be able to help you. I would go see them in person , bring whatever you need to prove who you are.

My name is common enough to see I've bought a ton of houses.
If teh credit bureau doesn't show a loan 3 months later, odds are it's not you;.

You need to check all three reporting agencies. You can contact a title or escrow company to do a name search for you. It would cost a few dollars, but it's better to know.

Names are not exclusive, it would show up on your credit report if your SSN was involved.
