My Refrigerator!!???????????????

I have a GE Profile 13-year old fridge and the freezer is leaking on the inside due to the ice make I think. It is still cold, but not cold enough to freeze. It is fridge-like cold.

Do you think I should get it fixed or buy a new fridge. If you think I should buy a new one, let me know of any good brands you have tried and loved and that work well. Thanks everybody!

I would buy a new refrigerator for sure, I mean it's 13 yrs old. I personally have a whirpool and it's been good so far. I heard that the LG are pretty nice nad they look awesome also!! Good Luck!!

The technology has changed, and newer refrigerators are much more energy efficient. We replaced two older fridges a couple of years ago (one was 15, and the other much older) with a new Maytag, and we suddenly noticed almost $50 per month savings on our electric bill.

See if you hydro company has a refrigerator round up program. That means they give you a credit on your hydro bill and take the old fridge away. Then by a new fridge. I have a Sears Kenmore and I love it.

Buy a new on the rate for appliance repair now a days isn't worth it. There are many good brands out there. I suggest goto a few different stores and find one that will fit your needs.
