I asked you if i was pretty. you said no. i asked you if i was fat. you said yes of course. i asked if u wanted to be with me forever you said no. i asked you if you would cry if i walked away. you said no. i had heared to much i needed to leave and as i walked away you grabbed my arm and told me to stay. u said your not pretty ur beautiful. the only thing fat or big about you is your heart. i dont want you forever i need you
forever. and baby if you walked away i wouldnt cry, i would die....
My bff wrote this poem and it thought it was terrific. what are your appinions?

it's not original, but at least he made the effort, that is worth something.
Don't pull him up over it being kinda copied, just take the positives from it and be happy.

he didnt really right it. he took the structure of another poem and put his own twist on it. its called pastiche which is sort o like a parody for poems. here is the poem:
Girl: Do i ever cross ur mind
Boy: No
Girl: Do you like me?
Boy: Not really
Girl: Do you want me?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you cry if I left?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you live for me?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you do anything for me?
Boy: No
Girl: Choose--me or ur life
Boy: my life
The girl runs away in shock and pain and the boy runs after her and says...
The reason you never cross my mind is because you're always on my mind.
The reason why I don't like you is because I love you.
The reason I don't want you is because I need you.
The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left.
The reason I wouldn't live for you is because I would die for you.
The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you.
The reason I chose my life is because you ARE my life

ive heard so many poems like this, in so many different terms.
it is quite good, how his changed it himself ;)
