Why is the US response to the Haitian crisis so different from its response to Katrina? Any ideas?

First, Katrina in New Orleans was just a flood. Haiti was a complete destruction of everything. Every school, building, govt buidling, grocery store, etc. In Katrina while we complained about the respone it was about 10 x more than what haiti was received. For example, the Comfort, a hospital ship is in Haiti, but too was the Comfort in New Orleans and in New York after 9/11.
Further the earth quake in haiti was a monster, if that had hit new orleans your definition of disaster would have changed. Imagine the 10,000 people in the Dome dead as the dome collapses. INstead of find 30 dead in a hospital from stress (heat, elements), you find everyone dead, the doctors and nurses, and everyone thing. You find every school in rubbles and every child was in school now dead.

they could all get some assistance from the looters from Clark Brown college and Morehouse. They did it in bands, marching in the time of an aerial bridge, looting, and then marching decrease back in the course of the bridge. I said it in individual.
