Eating the shell of a peanut is something I'd describe as more stupid than dangerous

depending on where the peanut was stored probably filled with trillions of bacteria, so probably not a good idea but if it is clean as long as you don't eat too many it should not hurt you. why would you want to eat the shell of a peanut anyway

I wouldn't suggest it unless your eating boiled peanuts. I buy them canned from time to time and just eat the soft shells along with the nuts.

It's not recommended. I dont see anything bad happening form it but i dont think it's digestible. Best not to make a habit out of it. Cheers
