Final Fantasy XII, Ps2, Pharos - Second Ascent, Reach of the Occult?
I am stuck on this level and have been for a total playing time of 5 hours.. that doesn't include the times I haven't saved.. anyone with any advice on how to get out of this place?
I made a mistake.. I am on the Third Ascent.. at the beginning once more.. It keeps leading me back here..

That's tough between Guitar Hero and FFXII. If you like the Final Fantasy series or RPG's in general, then FF is the way to go. The advantage of Guitar Hero 2 is that you can buy guitar hero 1 and use the same guitar for it. Also, the face-off and co-op modes on Guitar Hero 2 make it great for when friends come over.

You're talking about those coloured teleporters, right?
1. Take the black one.
2. Take the green one (it's hidden behind a fool's facade)
3. Take the red one.
4. Recall if you had to sacrifice items, magic, attacks, etc. during the second ascent. The ascent would have turned a certain shade of colour. Pick the teleporter with the same colour.
5. There will be a lot of teleporters clustered together. Don't take any of them, instead, search for another fool's facade and take that one.
I believe that's the order to take.
