When playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are you only responsible for your own character or do you?
have other people with you that you have to protect. What I'm asking is if you are held up during gameplay watching after other 'soldiers, people, etc'.

in campaign just play and dont worry about them
online its good to protect your team mates but you dont have to, i feel bad sometimes because ill be 1 kill from the pave low or chopper gunner and i see a team mate near by in a gun fight but i dont want to lose my killstreak, if i only have a kill or 2 ill help but killstreaks are more important to me because they help us win more :D

It's easier to win a game if you watch each others backs. But u can also do your own thing if thats what works best for ya

Your responsible for yourself.. you can look out for your team mates but essentially your score is based off of your kills.
