Unexplained Itching Breasts (kinda long)?

In the past month my breasts have been itching like mad. I'm pretty good at not bothering with them when I'm awake but when I go to sleep my subconscious goes to town on them. I am constantly waking up with scratches on my stomach and breasts. It's getting ridiculous. I have been on this birth control called Lenissa for a couple of months. I changed birth controls because the other ones broke me out in hives on my legs. But now my breasts itch. What could be the cause of this? Could it be the birth control and why would it start to affect me now when I've been on it for a while? I mean I'm engaged so naturally we have sex... but I make sure to take my BC so I don't get pregnant; do you get itchy breasts from being pregnant? (I haven't missed a period and haven't gained or lost any weight that I know of.)

Birth control is known to do this. your hormones are just changing to a lower level and its easy for your body to itch. I would let a doctor know just in case so that they can keep an eye on it, but i don't think you have anything to worry about.

And yes, your breasts itch like crazy when you are pregnant but not until your third trimester when you begin to lactate. I have a hard time keeping sane when they itch the way they do (im 33 wks pregnant and about to go psycho because breasts and extending waist line are growing so they itch)

Millions of women have done this. It's uncomfortable, it's not any fun and it can be a little embarrassing. But it's over pretty quick, and it's important to do it. Just try to relax and think of other things while you're being examined. I was 17 the first time I got an annual physical exam, and I get one every year.

skin when it's winter time do dries out easily. put some cream/lotion before going to bed. set to it your laundry has a softener. no bugs under the bed. if you think that's the cause of the pill, change it. some drugs will not show negative outcome right away, so perhaps you're getting now after couple of months using itl.

maybe you are allergic to it.

maybe you just have itchy breasts.

put some kind of skin cream on them.
