Which washing machine & dryer brand is worth buying in Malaysia?

I'm thinking of buying a front load washing machine & dryer. I'm looking for low maintenance, value for money and yet not too expansive. If possible an energy saving as well...Mostly for everyday garments (2-3 person). So, I guess I don't need a 9kg capacity yet..hehe

Any recommendations? I'm thinking of buying Electrolux or Lux but I'm open for suggestions.

I am currently using an Electrolux model.Front loading cap 5-6kgs.No dryer.I bought it used about 7 years ago. Then,it could have been used for almost 5.So it has already been 12 years since. And its still running. The only problem is that it takes a long time for each was..abt 2 hrs.I dont think, thats a problem with new washers. But its really good wash

Every brand is good but why you need dryer? Here in Malaysia you have more than 12 hours sunlight for 365 days

all the washing machine in malaysia have warranty right?..most of their warranty only for 2 years for motor and control board (auto)..do you ever try to check out Toshiba's warranty..5 years for motor and 2 years for control board..just my opinion la based on my washing machine..

Have you tried the manual one?

You know, the one where you use some pails and your hands and the brush?

Well, for dryer, you may try the matahari and angin brand, FOC.
