Assassin's Creed 2 Ending Explanation?

Adam and Eve were created and gentically altered to be faster and stronger in order to be slaves to these "Gods" who used the piece of eden to control them. Whenever Adam and Eve got a chance they stole the piece of Eden in order to destroy it. A war started between them and the "Gods" because they were recovering the pieces of Eden in order to destroy them. Adam and Eve were the first Assassins and the "Gods" were the first Templars. They say the Assassins won the first war so either they broke up the templars or killed them. A solar flare burnt the face of the earth destroying mankind and the God's for the most part and destroying their advancement in civilization. The Assassin bloodline remained though. People (who were not Assassins) began worshipping the beings as God/Gods and discovered about the piece of eden and have developed into the templars we know today. Here is where we are in the story! Where Desmond has learned he has to stop the sun by activating temples somehow.

their talking about the sun exploding.....yes exploding

they also address desmond as the chose one or something while elzio is the messenger seeing as how she broke the forth wall telling elzio that desmond was the chosen one
