Responding to insults POLL: If somebody called you a "loser".........?

i always kill people with kindness and say thank you when someone insults me, i look like an idiot when doing it but it leaves them dumbfounded with nothing to say afterwards lol

If it's my Idiot Cousin Marge... Any appropriate physical response will do: Elbow in the back, shin kicking, Right hook, or the worst that I've done, which was to cut a BIG clump of hair, down to the roots, off the top of her head, when she was sleeping.

For all others-

If it's a business situation,file a formal report with the human resources director and let them face official disciplinary action. Work bullies create a tense atmosphere and should be tossed out.

If it's friend and it's meant to be a joke, just blow it off.

If somebody was angry, I WILL confront them. I would demand an apology or they can and will incur my wrath! I would never let it go until it's been settled to my satisfaction.

Only in the sense of being mildly annoyed. Seriously, there's so many worse insults and slurs out there that it's not even funny. This is the sort of thing you'd call someone if you were trying to be cute or funny. Honestly.

If it was someone I cared about I'd probably cry. I think I upset someone that I care about today and I'm really sad about it.

If they were no-one to me, I'd blow it off, bury it deep down in my subconscious, and tell my therapist about it in 10 years time like everyone else does lol!
