is there hope left for humankind?

As long as history is taught and dwell-ed upon and new generations are infected by their fathers mistakes, the future of mankind will never heal.

In order to progress forward new generations must make a new beginning, starting a whole new book of tales. Hate and racism is taught by our schools, Government and parenting.

It seems humans want to dwell in this circle of hate with no cross roads of escape.

One change at a time!

That's a good question the bible says "But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." 2 Peter 3:13 so yes there is hope, the bible also says that people would not believe this it says "For you know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: "Where is this promised presence of his? Why from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as from creation's beginning." 2 Peter 3:3-4

You should also look this up for your self and never take anybodies word for it.

Humankind is doing just fine. To wit: Have you noticed that all the "prophets" of doom have something to sell or a money making angle that's directly connected to the doom and fear they monger? It's true from any low rent televangelist to Al Gore and his ilk. If there's no hope, why amass the wealth? Why not just lay down and wait to die? Perhaps because the prophets don't believe their own prophecies.

A deep person knows that no matter how bleak the situation is, good will triumph over evil and enlightenment will break over the land.

I look at the wonder of the works of man.Not the negative.
