Are you a single adult with no children? Do you ever feel discriminated against?

Do you ever feel intentionally ignored, left out, discriminated against or badgered by married people with children because you choose not to marry and have children? When did some married people with children start thinking that they were better than singles without kids? Who is anyone to tell someone that they should or shouldn't have kids? Why can't they just mind their own business and let us live our lives?

Yeah, they should mind their own business. They are just mad and jealous that their own marriage is bound for failure. Sad, these jealous people :(

Those type of people are probably more prone to do what the popular media or culture expects of them, and therefore are less willing to think outside the box that society forms. They are blinded to ideas other than the norm like for instance, it's perfectly okay to be single your entire life, and not have children either. I'm not trying to put anyone down here, but this is seriously what I have come to notice from my friends, especially my friends that are girls who are constantly looking for a boyfriend and seem to think they are less valuable when they are single. It's as if they think happiness derives from having a sexual relationship with someone, while I think happiness comes from within not from another person.
