Are there any artists as good as Immortal Technique?
I can't seem to find any artists that have the same metaphorical depth as Immortal Technique. No one has been able to match him with their similes. He has a developed vocab beyond that of any rapper I've ever heard.
Does anyone know of any rap artists that can match with Technique lyrically?

I'm not looking for flow, read the whole question. His metaphors paint such a vivid mental image that no one else can match. Atmosphere is alright, I mean Slug is amazing but no where near Technique. Tonedeff is just fast, and Jedi Mind Tricks is decent. I'll check out your other suggestions though.

immortal technique has to be one of the most overrated rappers. he lacks flow.. political lyrics are most of what he has. and he doesn't really do outstanding in all the other aspects. so he's certainly not the best, even lyrically. i understand where you're coming from though but it's clear you haven't heard much..? there are MANY artists better than immortal technique, he is good though.
check out atmosphere, AZ, nas, louis logic, cunninglynguists, tonedeff, jedi mind tricks.
they're not the best but they're better and i'm just assuming you'd like them. :)

Immortal technique is nowhere close to over-rated, if something he's underrated by human beings no longer listening to him because he would not promote out. yet I understand in case you locate sons like Bush knoked city the towers somewhat too very resembling a conspiracy theory. P.S. in case you want immortal technique i suggestions Lowkey and Hasan Salaam. also Immortal technique isn't an underground rapper yet is mythical for his pastime lyrics and pass.

Immortal Tech cant beat nobody lyrically,for real!!Like Criste said he is very overrated.Hes not even that 'lyrical' though.
Talib kweli,Mos Def,Nas,Black Thought,Ghostface Killah,GZA,Etc. are way more lyrical.

some mcs who are like him are lost children of babylon, if you like political hip hop and stuff like that. of course there's more diverse mcs than him, but he's probably one of the best in this era.
