Why Is Health in Politics and Not In Health?

Now that health care reform is all but dead, why are Republicans so elated? The problems still exists and it has never been a major concern of the Republicans. The needs of the of the people seem to have been less important to them than defeating Obama.

there is over 400 million americans, less then 20 million don't have health insurance and cant afford it

but they still can get treatment in any ER room regardless if they owe the hospital or not

PS the other 40 million uninsured are not US citizens

so wheres the problem?... its the trial lawyers who run up the cost of insurance for doctor with sue for anything lawsuit and people looking for a fast quick buck to retire on without earning it

i propose all lawyers who sue for health reasons has to do it free of charge..

no money changes hands.. and any faults of the hospital or doctors give free medical for life to the defendants

This is a big problem in politics and I believe it has gotten worse recently with the extreme partisanship and idealization (sometimes it seems like idolatry) of certain definitions of "conservativism" or "liberalism". People need to realize that both have pros and cons, we need to more intelligently think about politics and realize that good ideas from both of these ideologies can and should be combined.

  • Bankrupting the people with a Marxist plan to take over 1/6th the US economy is not really in the best interest of the people.

The needs of the people need to be met by the people, not by an inflated, corporate-controlled government.

I'm not elated. It's one brick of thousands that needs to be torn down. I want to retire in 30 years, and politicians aren't letting me. They're using "crisis" after "crisis" to justify putting us deeper and deeper into debt.

So I don't care how good of a cause the next piece of mega-legislation sounds. Humans are clever, they'll figure out a fix. Massive debt and inflation is not a fix.

They have repeatedly given their ideas

Have had their bills and amendments shot down by the majority democrats

They are elated because they have done their jobs

only 36% of the electorate want Obama care

They have done what their constituents have asked them to do

    Kill the Bill
