I've done some freelance work on the rentacoder freelance auction and I'm usually looking for new IT or writing gigs. If you've had online experiences with freelance auctions like Getafreelancer , Scriptlance, Elance or Rentacoder how'd it go ?

I have developed three sites through RentaCoder in the past two years.
It works ok, but you have to compete with "emerging economies" like India, who can supply the same goods for half the price.
I think that 15% commission is way too high for large developments (1500$ and over), and the poor exchange rate of the dollar does not make things better. (I live in Euros)
