what laptop should i get for my 18 year old daughter that is going off to college.?
she is 18 going off to college is not a gamer, and just needs a conventional computer for fairly cheap.

i would suggest a MacBook, but if you want a good fairly cheep one i would go with a HP. NEVER get a dell it will crap out on you and there customer support is SO bad.

Well I can suggest that you should go for a Refurbished Dell or HP laptops
These laptops comes with moderate specifications which can be easily upgraded. Providing you a website link which will be really excellent in helping you a cheap laptops

HP or Compaq, one with a pretty good sized harddrive, and maybe cd/dvd drive, and good ram, maybe at least 1 GIG, or 2 GIG, Hope this helps!!!

get her a mac...it will never die on her...my mom got me a mac,but not a laptop. I love it!
