What to do if someone has an allergic reaction?
A good friend of my is allergic to nuts and I never really sat down to think about what to do if he had an reaction. In my mind there would always be an epipen but I come to realize that for the amount of times we eat out and how often restaurants can mess up your order, it is possible that he would have a reaction when he was not somewhere were we could get an epipen. Now I know the first thing would be to call 911, but what do you do after. Do you give cpr to a person who passes out because there thought is swollen shut, would it even do anything. So I would just like to know what to do, hoping I would never have to do it.

If a person has a known severe allergy to any food or substance, they should NEVER be without their epi pen. If they have passed out, using their epi pen for them may save their life. If the allergy is less severe, taking some benadryl immediately can slow down allergic reactions. If a person's throat is completely swollen shut, unless you are a medical person, there is nothing you can do. If they then become pulseless, you need to know CPR - everyone should know how to do this. And, an ambulance is often only minutes away. As your friend how their epipen works and where they carry it when they go out. This is your best life saving thing you can do.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonaryresuscitationn, it is used for cardiac arrest which means the heart has stopped beating. You would use rescue breathing which is a part of CPR for respiratory arrest when the patient has stopped breathing soobviouslyy this isn't used for anaphylaxis or severeallergicc reaction. If your friend has an epipen use that, you should call 911 with or without the epipen. You best treatment would be to maintain an open airway the best that you can until help arrives. P.S. improperly done CPR can cause serious damage to the patient and CPR done when it isn't needed can too.

No, I understand for a incontrovertible fact that nobody has ever died straight from weed. To overdose on it you'll must smoke extra of it than your genuine frame weight that's A LOT considering the fact that absolutely it does not weigh very so much. I have heard of men and women having unhealthy reactions to it despite the fact that, mainly they only turn out to be freaking out and or puking and they are pleasant the following morning. Everyone's distinctive. If whatever extra extreme than that occurs then it is obviously laced. It's well to have a consistent trader that you simply fully believe to hinder this from going down.
