house arrest help please?
have few questions. are they gps that track every move or just a device that dials out when leave or come back. are they water proof. what do i need to expect with this. some insite please. searched a few sites some say yes gps some say no there not gps. so maybe depends on district to tell if some use gps or not.

It depends on the state and county and also the nature of the crime. I'm in PA and I was on house arrest for 90 days. Mine was completely done over the phone. Voice recognition. A computer called me 6 random times per day and I had to say one of three sentences that I had set up with the system. I didn't have to wear any device on me.

The ones ive seen are beacons set up on your land line phone.If you stray too far away it sends a signal to the probey.They call back to see if you answer the phone.
