Don't like it at all. All I hear is talk about changes will be made soon, with the Warriors. So trading away your best player for a aging player is your answer? That's ridiculous. Monta Ellis is having a All-Star type season and has embraced the role, as the leader of the Warriors. He has matured both as a player and person. Larry Riley wants to make changes desperately huh, well then make changes by getting rid of a overpaid Corey Maggette. I know you can do it, Maggette has played well the past month and a half, and could make a good player for a contending team, off the bench.
I'm just glad to hear Larry Ellison would like to buy the Warriors. That would get rid of Chris Cohan and hopefully the rest of the pitiful front office.

No truth to it. According to the San Jose Mercury News: "Warriors coach Don Nelson was asked Monday about a report that surfaced earlier in the day. It told of talks between the Warriors and the Celtics involving Monta Ellis and Boston's Ray Allen. Nelson's response? He burst into laughter."
And I can't blame him. Talk about a one-sided trade. When I heard about it I immediately knew it couldn't be legit; the Warriors get robbed and it would be a stupid decision on their part.

Let me put the lineups together...
C- Perkins/ Wallace
PF- Garnett/ Davis
SF- Pierce/ Radmonovic
SG- Ellis/ Daniels
PG- Rondo/ House
For the Celtics: I actually like it a bit. It gives them even more versatility and Ellis can maybe help give Rondo a rest and move over to the PG spot when he sits. Plus he is a guy who can create his own shot and thats good for the Celtics who are a bit older. Radmonovic can also be used as SF or PF but when he plays with KG he can space the floor to give him room to opperate and when him Wallace and KG are on at once, that would be crazy having all the spacing. This trade gives them shooting, athleticsm, versatlity, and more depth. Its actually good.
For the warriors: Ray would fit in that system giving them all kinds of threes but they would really miss Ellis who is their franchise and creates for others and himself and Ray at this point can't do that on a consistent basis.
Boston would win this trade.

Wow, that would be a big win for the Celtics. Though I don't think KG will like the pace Monta is going to bring. And wtf is Rajon Rondo going to do with Monta around?
For the Warriors, as much as I think Monta does screw up their offense in some ways, he still is the main spark to their team. And why take a player who's probably going to go dramatically down hill by next season. Though the Warriors are known to make awesome unorthodox transactions.

that is totally false i so dont see that happening why would the celtics break up their core, i know ray is old and he has an expiring contract and even though the warriors do offer them ellis i just dont see the celtics agreeing to it and besides ellis is a ball hog he took like almost 40 shots..and the celtics dont play that kind of basketball

worst trade ever. if the warriors do this then they are by far the worst organization in the nba. Why would you trade a rising all star for an aging used to be all star? good for the celtics bad for the warriors
