    a. 4x + y - 6 = 0

    y = -4x + 6

    b. m = -4

    b = 6

    c. Mark the y-intercept at 6 on the y-axis. From there, go over to the left 4, and up 1, and mark a second point. Draw a line through those two points.

    Ok just rearrange for y on one side.so y=-4x+6 (remember the sign changes when you move over an equals sign)

    the slope is just the number before the x which is -4. the y-intercept is 6 and the x-intercept is 6/4 which is 1.5.

    Just join the points from the x-intercept and y-intercept and extend that to the required length on the x and y axis.It is a linear function.

    Hope this helps!

    a. 4x + y - 6 = 0

    y = - 4x + 6

    b. slope m = -4

    y intercept = 6

    c. In order to graph the line, I would connect the two points (0,6) & (3/2,0) then

    extend that short segment to the edges of the graph paper.
