Spritually speaking: What word would (have) you tattooed to show what you spirit says?

_()_

Update:

@Passenger, I agree that is why I can never get a tattoo I would like then dislike and like it again over the course of a month.

Also I am hairy so it tends to make a Tattoo look odd. :-(

Update 2:

hey Bobby

@Nerdlinger I agree with that notion but I sometimes worry that clinging to fluidity has a certain error to it.

Believe. I have that on my wrist. But, it isn't "believe" as in "believe in a god," no, it is for "make believe," which will be fully clear once I finish it.

I couldn't pick a word, I would need a paragraph or maybe an essay.

I'm terribly fickle. One day I'll insist that nothing in life is as important as chocolate cake, the next I'll tell you I hate chocolate. I can't ever name my favorite song or movie, only the one I like best at this exact moment. I suppose I could tattoo the word, 'change' upon my flesh but here's the really funny thing; I hate change. I'm a creature of habit. Maybe 'odd duck' would sum me up well but it's not very specific. :)

I don't believe in "spirit" per se, but I have a "Eudaimonia" tattoo, which is the idea that people gain the most pleasure from leading a honorable life and doing what is right, and that is the path to happiness.

Google it, it's actually a pretty sweet philosophy

    Hey Siva! ^_^

I would choose 'Blood' but probably have it in Old English, so 'Blod'.

The blood of my living family and Ancestors, the blood that ties me to the ones I love, the blood that ties me to my faith. Obviously I would need some extra decoration with this tattoo :) lol

Blood keeps creeping into my thoughts. It's a very important part of the human body, without it we would die. Our blood, which we get from our parents and share with our siblings, connects us with our families back through the generations connecting us with our Ancestors.

Blood has become a very important thing to me.

Even as I doubt the concept I like The Egyptian ankh, the symbol for eternal life.

None, as the Bible commands us against having any tatoos or piercings.

We are not to be branded as we are not owned by anyone except our maker. Being branded implies that we are not free, that we are owned as slaves, just as a farmer brands his sheep.

The truth is that we had to be bought at a price in order to save us and free us from sin, the bondage that kept us captive and Jesus Christ paid that price for us by dying on the cross.

Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6

Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him. Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. Brothers, each man, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to. 1 Corinthians 7

My spirit needs no label, it only needs reconciling to its maker.

Spiritually, I would not want to tattoo anything, not only because I don't want to mark up my body, but because I wouldn't want to limit myself to any word or concept. It is best to be fluid in my spiritual experience.
