how can i get in contact with and him and not seem desperate?
there is this guy that i was "talking" to about 1.5 years ago and we stopped "talking" due to certain circumstances. lately i have been thinking about him and want to get in contact with him. the only thing is i erased his number from my phone because i went through a period where i wanted to "forget" about him and move on. the only way to contact him is through facebook. what are some things i can say without coming off desperate or wanting to get back with him?
the reason why i want to get in contact is because i cant stop thinking about him not in that way but more as i wonder what he is up to and just would like to chat and maybe be friends again like we used to.
i honestly just want to see how he is doing and just catch with him. what should i say? how can i get his number without coming off like im trying to get back with him.

first off, relax! Just say--Hi! How ya been?--and leave it at that. Then it's up to him, if he contacts you, great, if he doesn't, leave it for a month, then another short note if you like, but don't press it, not more than once a month--and I mean once a month, not more!--with short conversational bits, one or two sentences. You want him to see you're busy with your life, and don't need him, but would like to chat. Keep it low-key and you should do fine......
