Intermediate Runs at Mt High?
Hey I'm just wondering if the intermediate runs at Mt High Resorts Mountains are steep or are they just long? I don't mind long but I can't do steep downhill runs yet. Any local snowboarders can give me feedback? Thanks!

Im glad your asking. I ride Mt High and work there sometimes.
If your at West Resort, You can go on RoadRunner (the chair name) and that run is pretty easy.
If you think you can go bigger, try taking the chair Blue Ridge Express to the top and once you get off the lift, go right and it should take you to the run called Chisolm. This run is probably the easiest from the top. You can take Boarderline but once you get to the end of that run, you have to take Wiyott which is a pretty steep intermediate run for beginners. But its not too bad but can intimidate many beginners. But if you take Chisolm, you should be find.
At the East resort, there is a nice run from the top of the mountain called Goldrush with runs about 1.5 miles long. Its a pretty good intermediate run but its actually pretty steep at the end. But thats the only bad part of that run. But once you go down it alot, you should get pretty used to it.

ohh i <3 mt. high :] much closer and easier to drive to than big bear ^.^
anyways, the intermediate runs (blue runs) aren't steep at all. and unfortunately it's not long either.take the blue ridge express and look at the map and signs so you don't accidently go down the blacks(although the blacks aren't so bad when there's lots of powder)
if you're solid on the green runs, you're good to go on the blue ones :] have fun ^^
