Riddle help please!!?

For a Math class based on George Golay's "How to Solve it!"

Nine wine glasses are in a row right side up.

Using both hands, you can turn over exactly six glasses at once.

If you do this repeatedly, reversing six glasses each time

(You can turn back glasses that have already been reversed),

what is the minimum number of reversals you need to get all nine glasses upside down at one time?

Explain your answer/methodology

    never

there are an odd number of glasses right side up

if you invert six glasses this an even number

    odd - even = odd

There will always be an odd number of glasses right side up.

Therefore there will never be an odd number of glasses upside down.

    Nine is an odd number.

Two because you don't have to turn over six glasses at once
