I have a Compaq Presario R3000.....?

when it goes into sleep/hybernation I cannot get it to come around again. I end up pulling the battery out and starting all over again. How do I wake it back up again????

You_Thin....if you think this one is a piece of crap, I went from a Del that I could have taken a sledge hammer to. I thought this one was pretty darn good after that one. But..it's used and I have no serious complaints. You are so right about it freezing up tho. Hey, let's play the lottery and see if we can't get something more topoftheline ~ !

    I don't have a Presario but most laptops, and desktops, have a reset button. Use the manual to find where it is. To prevent this go to the control panel, power options, and have it Never go to sleep. And if all else fails, you can probably hold down the ON button and it will go off without having to remove the battery.

    compaqs are CRAP UNRELIABLE COMPUTERS...im using one right now its slow it freezes up the ram and memory sucks and boot time talkes longer than a normal computer!....and to say all that in one word HORRIBLE....this computer is so lucky i cant afford another right now cause when i do get another one im tossing this out the upstairs window!
