youtube to hard drive?

Any other sites like vixy.net that will do the trick? Vixy isn't working for me.

    You could try using Firefox as a web browser (download if if you're not using it now), and then install one of their download helper tools. When you browse to a site that has a flash video, it alerts you and lets you save the original video to your hard drive.

    Once you're using firefox, you can go to tools --> Add ons --> Get Add ons, then search for download helper and pick one.
