What are your views on PDA?

Public Displays of Affection. What are your views? Pros and Cons? How far should PDA go in your opinion (ex. holding hands, kissing on cheek, leaning head on shoulder, etc.)? Do you like it? Do you think people should get scolded for PDA? What's bad/good about it in your opinion?

Update:

What is the youngest age, in your opinion, that PDA should be done?

.Some is fine...hold hands, arms around each other, hugs, sweet kisses...not making out, groping, or virtual sex. I don't want to see people doing things in public that should be kept private. If I have the urge to be a voyeur, I'll go to an appropriate place for that.

In my opinion, it all depends on where you are and what kind of people surround you. PDAs are like clothes-you wouldn't wear a bikini in Alaska! The same way you gotta know how far you can go without making everyone around you feel disturbed. If you are in an open, public place with a variety of ages around you, holding hands, kiss on cheek and hugs will be acceptable. that way no children will have to look at your partner grabbing those "private parts" and no old people will lecture you. If you are somewhere where the age range is mature o close to yours, then a kiss on the lips and waist-grabbing will be nice to save embarrassments. Try to not make out in public, but if you do, please keep the tongues inside the mouths (no one wants to see them) and no boob, butt or crotch grabbing cause t looks very skimpy and it' a little disturbing. a tender caress at the cheek or a massage is acceptable as well. I always think that you should do things you wouldn't mind seeing a couple doing for a long time. Oh and never EVER make out in a small store or fast food line! Disgusting! PDA's can be cute and a public expression of how much you care for each other (good) or it could be a disgusting sow for others to throw up o and judge whether you're just too horny to stop or just a whore (BAD). The only con I can find on all PDA's is the fact that people who just broke up or are single might find it hard for them. I think that the people who overdo the PDA thing should be scolded, like the grabbing part and making our in lines i mentioned before. The ones who keep it pg or pg13 at the most shouldn't be scolded for showing their affection to the world.

i'll answer this one question at a time. PDA is really only good if you want people to know your dating. As far as you are conferable going. I love it when she is right next to me and you will feel the same way. When i am ever scolded for PDA i step it up a notch i start making out with her it sort of says screw you to the person scolding. Its good for a relationship, helps it progress, the bad thing is well i don't think there is anything bad at all with it

Yes, they should get scolded for ONLY if:

    -They're under middle school

    - They do it a lot

    - It gets to do very distracting

    - It's something other than a brief kiss, no "making out"

But on the other hand, it's none of their businessss. It's the human races' way of showing affection. I think it's also kind of nosy too. So, i see both sides of it.

i imagine pda is okay to a level, like protecting fingers is okay, or sitting heavily, hugs are large. yet kissing in public (unlike a %., yet like, frenching or making out) is tacky and gross. doing a majority of those issues makes you look undesirable or slutty, particularly once you're a lady. yet there is not any longer something really incorrect with performing like a pair in public, to an volume.
