I am well aware of the websites and things but I need a kennel and i need one very fast.. the one I ordered has "got lost"..ano joke... i live in southern scotland. does anyone know where i could get a cheap kennel that would do him for now. he will only be 6 weeks when I get him. someone offered me one but when the went to dismantel it it fell apart..please help..

or does anyone have one lying around?

Update:

its going to be in the garage so it doesnt need a door. and te garage is well heated.

Update 2:

I don't know about being able to get a dog kennel in Scotland on the internet, but try ebay, its so cheap and there never seems to be anything wrong with them. You would normally get them from England for you to pick up.

I found a dog kennel that's really cheap, new and good condition, it seems good for me! Here it is below:

You can find dog crates, far more reasonably than via a pet store, on Ebay. I've bought a couple now, and they are fine - and they arrived within 24 hours too.

I am seriously concerned that, despite your qualifications (!!) you are going to be putting a 6 week puppy (which your qualifications should tell you is WAY too young to be away from his litter-mates) in a crate in a garage. Why not buy a stuffed toy. Poor puppy.

Add - I believe you will find that vets usually only give the 6 week vaccination if it's felt the puppy's immune system was compromised ... eg. he didn't receive mum's first milk for some reason. Normally vaccinations are not started until after 8 weeks, by which time the natural immunity levels in the average puppy have dropped sufficiently for the vaccination to take.

is it an indoor or outdoor kennel ?

You need to ensure that it is heated as he is a very young pup to be outside

Check your local want ads. Most cities have those even online. It's the best and cheapest way in my opinion..

    good luck!
