I am making a homemade soup, but its not filling enough.. Anyone have a good sandwich side or something?
Hey there,
I always make this soup and my boyfriend just loves it, but it isn't filling enough. Does anyone have a good side recipe to go along with soup? I was thinking a sandwich of some sort, but I'm not sure what to make? He's not big on tuna and stuff.. I don't have access to a sandwich maker, but I do have a george forman and I'm very creative in the kitchen. Just thought I would ask if anyone has a favourite or anything.

a gourmet grilled cheese I use Gruyere cheese and tomatoes
or a blt is always nice with a soup
my favorite with soup is to grill some thick french bread brush with olive oil and use the george forman dip in the soup its yummy

It all depends on what kind of soup it is, some sandwiches compliment the flavor of the soup. I usually make B.L.T.s with the soups I make because they are pretty simple and don't have any exotic flavoring.
