Breast cancer. Is there financial help for mileage expense for treatments?
My cousin has started radiation treatments for 7 weeks, and has to drive about an hour each way. Any programs out there to assist in gas expense or any other out of pocket costs?

Ellen is right check with the Cancer Society and also have your friend check her insurance carrier if your in the States. They may have some compensation if not she could probably claim it as a tax right-off. Check with your local government officials and also have her ask the treatment center as they may have forms available for this type of expense. God Bless and Best of Luck.

You don't mention where your cousin is located.
Here in Australia there is a subsidy if you travel more than 150km per day or 500km per week to attend treatment.
The forms are available from the treatment centre as they have to certify your attendance.
