I dont think that one year will make a lot off difference to the safty aspect of driving, i think that if you had to learn and take at least 40 hours off lessons.. pass .. and then have to also pass a motorway test as well.. that might help .. and also be shown on film ..some police video footage off accidends.. that might help stop people from speeding when they see the out come of it.

Statistically speaking it would be safer because young people have the most accidents. I dont think it would be better though. We should trust our young adults, they need to learn about risk and responsiblity.

most dont pass by 18 anyway there are unsafe police drivers and 30 years olds wont matter much now days atleast where i live

well where i live that's the age limit..
honestly ?.. it would be safer to be 21 :P:P
the much freedom and everything...too immature behaviour leads to a lot of accidents

no because some of those 16-17 year olds actually have a brain and know how to use it.
