LP gas company won't remove their old tank from my property...?
A question for someone who can answer what my legal recourse is...I had purchased a home, and about a week after closing, I was informed by the realtor that the propane tank was only about 10% full. The tank that was already hooked up was a local company's tank, and of course I would have liked to go with them to continue my service. However, when I called them they told me there was "no way to tell when the truck would be out to refill the tank", not even a ballpark figure. I explained that the tank was almost empty , and we'd really like to continue service with their company, but the answer was still the same. Being November, they had really left me no choice but to have another company unhook their tank and hook up a new tank (LP companies will only deliver to their own company's tank.) So, the old tank is still sitting in my yard, after 3 phone calls to the old company to please come and remove it. I'm afraid I'm out of options, and may need to call my attorney...sad, but what else can I do? Any attorneys out there who can let me know what I'm facing here? Thanks!

call them and tell them you're going to put it on craigslist for free/if you can haul it you can have it in 2 weeks.
