Is there a simple reason why I can't get the ps3 to connect to my router?
I've hooked up wireless routers to ps3's for my friends many times but now I'm running into a problem with my brother's. The button you click on the router (WRT 160N) Cysco won't stay on, so it quits sending out a signal for the console? Why is this happening?
I got it figured out. I'ts the stupid Network Magic that comes on the intallation disc. I unistalled it and all is good. Oh, and I know having a ps3 sucks. I own both systems and I love the gaming on my xbox much better.

Here's a simple reason; its a PS3.

From the sound of your question, the issue seems to be the router, nothing to do with the PS3. You may need to replace the router.
