One of my grandmothers was a MacRobertson so I have an eighth of a right to wear that. But my favourite colour is not a dress tartan but a hunting tartan because I like dark green.
Actually I have no idea what the MacRobertsons wore but I think it would be the same as the Robertson tartan, the dress tartan being bright red.
And I like to think of all those old codgers in the heather with the hunting tartan which was much more practical in the way of finding something to eat. (Or guerrilla warfare if they went in for it).
