I have a question about my fish tank?

I thought my fish had ick so today i went out and bought the little dissolving tablets. I bought some for parasites too and i used them a few hours ago. Is it okay to change the water now? or should i wait 24 hours

Why do you want to change out the water soo early? follow the directions on the back of the box. with dissolving tablets, i am assuming that you are using JUNGLE tablets. for future refference i would recommend to check the chemical compounds the treatmentments contain so that you dont overdose your tank with the same chemical(from two different treatments.

follow the directions of the treatments and i would add one tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons(unless you are already using salt) and increase your temperature of the tank to about 82-84 degrees for the duration of the treatment and then slowly resume back to normal temps. when ever you raise the temperature, make sure you supplement the tank with extra airation to the tank. oxygen depletes faster in warmer water compared to cooler water.

u should probably wait 24hrs so that the chemicals can work. Usually if i get ick i just put in some salt that does not include iodide to my tank and it would get rid of the ick or any parasites
