It will hurt and there will be a chance it could bleed.
When first getting a piercing a specific material is used as it is suitable for it whilst it's healing, it's also longer for swelling.
I would honestly just leave it as it will become irritated else.
You can change it in 5-6 weeks.

Oh yeah! Go ahead. Just make sure that the earring that you are replacing is real gold and non of that fake stuff. If it is silver, make sure that it is real silver. No straight pins or staples that will rust from sweat and when you get into the shower. Just like an open sore, it is easy for your ear to become infected by this crap.
Even without any earring, your ear can easily become infected when exposed to open air. For that reason, make sure you leave something in your ear so that your holes will not seal back up - as any open wound would heal.
Hope this answers your question!

Usually, you're not meant to take it out for a week or two. You should ask the person who pierced you what they think. It really ISN'T a good idea to put something else in until that time is up, regardless of how much you dislike what's currently in there. I've done this before and the hole area got rather infected. You need to keep something stainless steel in there at the very least.
Do you have longish hair? Can you just chuck your hair over it for a while? Wear a hat??

It's not suggested but you can. It might hurt a little but it surely won't bleed.
Just make sure its really clean and the same gauge. A size bigger and it'll cause some discomfort.
Remember to clean it out well.
xx.

you may not remove it to a minimum of 2weeks/a month. to sparkling it get a saline answer and cotton wool and sparkling it at the same time as nevertheless in , in case you remove it it is going to irritate it, do not take it out or play with it at the same time as healing because it is going to shred.you receives little scabs all round it. i doesn't take it out back for yet another 2 weeks , 4 in case you are able to. a good respected piercer could of suggested you about the thanks to sparkling it and the thanks to promote healing.
