i copied the following answer from "morporc. i have heard this before but it truly makes no sense to me, because none of it is biblical or true.

The Egg reminds us of Easter, when Our Savior rose again from the tomb. the word easter comes from pagan fertility ritual (ishtar) as does the symbol of fertility the egg. not good in God's eyes.

The Tomato reminds us of His Precious Blood, shed for our redemption from sin. His blood is represented by wine. this wine was made from grapes not tomatoes.

The Bacon reminds us that Christians have no food taboos, and that this is a cornerstone of our Faith. (Matthew 15:11) mat15:11 is often used to say all foods are clean. not true this verse actually says(when taken in context) that it really isn't what goes into your mouth that defiles your spirit before the Lord but rather the words you speak. bacon is pork and pork is unclean. however it is a very common misconception that eating pork is a sin. not true. it breaks a health law not a commandment. when you break a health law you are not sinning. you are however making yourself sick.

The Pastry reminds us of the Bread He broke at His Last Supper to our Commemoration of His Ministry on earth. this is perhaps the only thing in this answer that is true however the bread Jesus broke was unleavened. that is to say more a cracker than bread.

Cause theres a page in the bible, somewhere near the back i think, which gives a ripping good recipe for quiche, and so why wouldn't they eat quiche all the time?

This is such a stupid question. You're making a gross generalisation about a significant proportion of the world's population. This truly is daft.

Did you also know that Hawaiians always eat Hawaiian pizza? (!!!!)
