Is there any way to find out an IP address, other than calling the judge?

If he did it via email then try to track sender back with email tracers:

Just copy/paste email header into email trackers above and you will find more information's about sender unless his IP is hidden.

okay to find an ip of some one else this is what i would do. (educational purposes only)

have that person send you an e-mail and then on the bottom of the email theres the IP number

now if you wanna find your own ip then just go to network connection and go to the connection and righclick and look up properties, look on details and theres the ip address and other important numbers.

Yeah. Tons of ways but I went and looked for the easiest way and it would be to go to a site like http://www.whatismyip.com/ and it'll tell you what it is. If you decide to use http://www.whatismyip.com/, your current IP address will be shown at the top. :)
