Have you gotten your tubes tied?
What were your circumstances? Were you married? Did your spouse agree or not? Do you have children (how many/gender)? Did you regret your choice? Were there any bad side effects? What advise do you have on this subject?

I am now 27.
I got my tubes tied at 23.
I have no children, and have never been married.
I had known since I was a child that I did not want them and at 18 began searching for a doctor.
It took me the 5 years to find one who happened to start practicing in my area about a year prior. Even he was hesitant but I marched in there and told him all of my reasons (a practice I had gotten used to)
Some of those included that my distaste for child bearing is the only thing that keeps me from having a committed relationship for fear of accident or being talked into something I didnt want. I have always considered adoption as the most humane method of child rearing. I described the genetic reasons why I should not reproduce (obesity, heart disease lol it's silly but he listened) The winning factor though was that an 18 year old male could walk in to a doctors and get fixed within an hour and walk out again and that I would begin legal action for sexual discrimination if denied. He did request I speak with a lawyer just to put it on record and free him of responsiblity if i change my mind at 30.
At any rate 4 years later It is the most liberating and brilliant thing I have ever done. I do not regret it a second. I do get moderate cramps before my cycle when I did not before but aside from that I am just so happy I persisted.

have not got a c section just to have your tubes tied. Having that finished does no longer require surgical operation anymore. They make a small hollow on your abdomen button and do it arthroscopicly. communicate it over with your well being practitioner . yet maximum circumstances they might do it after transport. good success
