I'd go check out some of your local boutiques and dress shops. There are some stores like Jessica Mcclintock that sell prom dresses.
Your boyfriend should wear a tie that is the same color as your dress.
I went as a sophomore last year, and I just had my sister do my own makeup because we have a shitload of it. My sister and some of my friends got it done and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between an appointment and their regular makeup.
Have fun! :)

Most people get a group of friends together for a limo, which helps with the cost. And you can all meet up beforehand to take pictures.
My boyfriend will probably have a tie that matches me, at the least get a little clutch or something that matches with your guy, it's cute.
If you don't feel confident in your makeup skills, go for it. But I would suggest just doing simple makeup yourself, you don't want to have it cake on then sweat off when you're dancing. Getting your hair done is a better way to spend your money.
I've looked at some bridal shops, but depending on when your prom is, you may have the order the dress soon if you want a different colour/size. Of course, mall stores like Le Chateau (idk if they have it in the US) are cheaper, but you run the risk of someone else having your dress. A lot of bridal shops will write down your school name and not let anyone else from the school buy the dress.
I'm a senior looking forward to prom this may. :) Best of luck!

I think he should have a white suit with a purple tie. That would be hott. I didn't go to prom my jr yr and Im a senior now, and I probably wont go, just because I have a baby and my boyfriend already graduated. I don't know yet. But, I think you will have fun, and you always have to look your best! Let your mom rent you a limo that would be fun!!!
Hope I helped!!

I'll sell you mine on Ebay! lol I got the shoes dyed to match it, so cute... I bought mine at a local store. And got my hair done but did my own makeup. And I got my nails done too. (Yes, I had braces when I was a senior :( )
I personally didn't have fun at prom because my boyfriend broke his ankle a week before! So he wimped out on me of course and I ended up going with my friends. And we didn't stay long. It was a pretty big let down.. But yours will be fun I'm sure!
