Collectable movie cards worth saving?

I have like boxes of unopened collectable movie cards. Is it even worth hanging on to these? Like one is just a box of unopened Batman Return movie cards. Then theres stuff like The Rocketeer, DragonHeart, and stuff and then a bunch of opened Pokemon cards... These cards are taking up a lot of space and I'm not even really into collecting cards anymore. I used to when I was younger but now it's just junk IMO unless they're really worth hanging on too... which I wouldn't think they are but I thought I'd check first.

Some of the older movie cards - from the 1930s up through 70s films like JAWS or Star Wars can actually be very valuable.

An old cigarette card featuring the 1930s singer, Nelson Eddy, sold for over $100 on e-bay a couple of years ago.

I would think the most valuable of those you mentioned would be Batman Returns. Batman is, in it's self, a collectible genre.

And Pokemon isn't as popular as it used to be but it still has a strong fan following.

    Those could easily become valuable.

I'd hang on to them, and maybe keep an eye on sites like e-bay, and see what the cards are selling for if you want an idea of their market value.
