What is the best exhaust brake for 2001 dodge 2500? Best answer gets 10 pts?

I have an automatic 5.9l cummins 24v. I am looking into an exhaust brake but not sure what is the best. Anyone out there using an exhaust brake let me know how it works and how long you have had it. I know banks makes one and BD diesel makes one with different designs. Also, do you need to have an small air compresser to operate these or are the run off something else. Best answer get 10 pts. Thanks

Tim what are you doing with this truck? haha whatever your doing with it, im sure its going to be fun when your done.

    ok, exhaust brakes.

i've installed pacbrake's, ive put on BD's, and banks ( the banks was on a powerstroke )

pacbrake's PRXB (around $1600) if your running stock stuff. this guy is your man. straight out of the box perfection. (air tank included) at low rpm's going down hill. this thing will stop you quick. it was Truly impressive. but. i dont believe your running stock anymore tim.

BD ( around $990 ) is what i think you should consider. they have complete kits (some air comp included) just flip the switch and she's a stopping. all in all. bd has great quality parts, helpful customer service. and you can find them anywhere for free shipping!!

Banks ( around $990) one word. solid. banks know what there doing with diesels. all there stuff is factory tested an never needs calibration or anything. in short. its painless. and its controlled by cpu. ( no air , electronic Option)

if you dont want the hassle of an air compresser. banks will do you great.

if the air isnt a concern. go with BD. thats my two cents man.
