any problems with the new 360?
Im thinking about getting an xbox 360 and i dont want to deal with all sorts of bullshit issues like my last one, are all the kinks worked out now or is it still gonna end up bein a waste of money? I already have a ps3, not a fan of computers or the wii, so i want a 360 just wanna hear from 360 owners
i have a ps3 already, but someone already nailed why i want a 360, i like all the exclusive games for it like halo, fable and gears of war. My last 360 had a ton of problems, particularly with the DVD lense burning out i never had the rrod though and i didnt know if that was still an issue or if theres some new problem that came out
ok seriously, already have a damn ps3, i want a 360 i dont care about your opinions on which one is better i want to know the ******* problems the 360's are known to have, not what system is ******* better

I'm on my second Xbox 360 (had this one for around a couple of years, with no trouble), and the only reason the first one failed is because I got one of those Intercooler systems that ended up burning out and damaging the system and the power cord. As long as you take care of the system by not leaving it on for days at a time, not sitting it on carpet or anything that it can sink into, and give it room around it so it can get the proper ventilation, it should be fine. Plus Microsoft has been putting out systems containing the Jasper chip-set which is supposed to have a far reduced chance of failing. Also Microsoft is more than willing to give a 3-year warranty for the two main problems (the RRoD and the E74) and a year for everything else.

I have a PS3 and a 360. The only reason you should even consider going back to the 360 is if you desperately want to play its exclusives, otherwise you're better off sticking to the PS3, safe in the knowledge that they're far more reliable than the 360.

It seems that they last a year and then they fail. But the customer support is more helpful then the Ps3. The Ps3 also can fail too. But yeah it seems almost like they always fail still.
