1. Internet is free on the iPod touch, as long as you're connected to a WiFi w/ Internet.

2. No, you need WiFi. The company doesn't matter, though.

4. I have no idea, but I'm guessing they're not too expensive for a low signal one.

5. If you're at McDonald's, you'll get good WiFi connection, yes. But not if you're 10 minutes away, that's way too far.

7. No, you can only play the ones that come with the game, or any extra that you download from the in-game music library. There are both Free songs, and Other songs that you pay for.

8. I had to look at my router for this one. "Netgear" is a pretty good router, but I'm not sure how much it costs.

9. Yes, it'll work. If they have a WiFi connection without a security code, then you can connect easily. Otherwise, you might have to ask a teacher or office for the code- but only if they have a "student" network or something.

You need Wifi to use the internet on an iPod touch. It works pretty good, although not quite as good as a computer's wifi connection. You can get a router for under $50. Wifi works about 50 metres to 100 metres. Belkin is pretty good at making routers, they usually last about 5 years, even with heavy use. It depends on if your school has free wifi for students or not. Most colleges do.
