be careful when it comes to the micro size dogs.....they also come with an awful lot of health problems (because nature does not make them that size---man does) and they dont live as long as normal breeds....

I think you are finding out that you've been scammed - big time. There's no such thing as a "teacup" any breed, let alone a mix like yours. Hope you didn't pay a lot of money because only scuzzy back yard breeders would try to pass of an undersize runt mix as an actual breed, let alone "teacup", that term alone should have sent you running. However, you now have the little pup, I'm sure he's adorable. Get him to a vet asap and perhaps he will thrive with good care and good food. Best of luck to you, love the little pup and be good to him, it certainly is not his fault that some crappy con artist used him to scam money from you. Don't blame the little dog, and I truly hope that he is relatively healthy and will be a good companion pet.

I don't think that a teacup maltese puppy actually exists. Sorry to break it to you, If you want to buy a good one, it's not actually possible because they're all from Backyard breeders and they're bad.
Theres only one size to a Maltese. So I suggest you get a regular maltese instead.

"Teacup" is a term used by backyard breeders to get people to buy the sickly runts of the litter. The Maltese comes in one size and most from show lines are around 5-6 lbs. Contact your local Maltese Club for a breeder referral.

There is no such thing as a teacup sized dog. That is a "cute" name made up by byb who want to sell the runts or very tiny pups for more money when they could in the end have alot more health problems.

Even though they are tiny and very cute, they come with very high medical bills. "Teacups" are not healthy. They are nothing more than the runt of the litter. Stick with a standard size Maltese. They are small to begin with.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU5Bu
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Maltese come in ONE SIZE ONLY. "teacup" is a scam label to sell sickly runts for a high price tag.
Goodle "Maltese Club".. you can find the breed club for your area and get a referral to a reputable Maltese breeder. (If I google I get the US club)

Here is a great Teacup Maltese breeder.
They offer free shipping.
I have gotten a few Teacups from them and they are happy and healthy.

I'm sure you can easily find a Back Yard Breeder in your area who is popping out intentional runts and selling them for hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
Ask around and I'm sure you'll find one soon enough! Enjoy spending a whole bunch of money on a BYB dog that will only live to be about 2 years old, and since these types of dogs are bred so horribly, you also get to enjoy probably about thousands of dollars worth of vet visits within those mere 2 years of its life....Good luck!!!!
