Different computer makes/models use different keys to access the BIOS, but some of the common keys are Del, F1, and F2 (For example, Dell computers usually use F2).
Start tapping one of those keys immediately after you boot/reboot the computer to get to the BIOS setup pages. Within those pages there should be a "boot order" or "boot device order" section where you can *permanently* set the boot order.
Your computer may also have an option to set the boot device order *temporarily*; just for that particular boot. Again, the access key varies; on most Dell computers the key is F12.

The BIOS is Del, F1, F10 or some other key, depending on the manufacturer. Try those first. (F8 is the Windows boot menu - you want the BIOS.) Then look for Boot Order.

sounds like this is a motherboard difficulty, or an argument with thechronic controller. you additionally can see comparable habit if the drives are conflicting (ie, the two are set to understand on the channel). attempt working with in basic terms onechronic, in case you have not already (and use the jumpers to set grasp). additionally make effective the bios settings are set to autodetect... in case you turn off detection, and don't set up your drives precise manually, then issues could prove like what you're seeing. The unexpected shutdown could be by way of a means difficulty... the means furnish interior the case (extremely those that come interior of the cheap cases) will possibly not have the muscle to run each and every thing you have on your gadget.
