where can i download jdk(java development kit) version 1.5 or later?
i;ve got blue j
but for it to work i need jdk version 1.5 or later
i've searched the whole damn net but cant find any...any one here who can give me the download link or send me the set up?

Firstly, you need to know that the version numbers of Java have changed. For instance, JDK1.5 is usually called JDK5, and JDK1.6 is usually called JDK6.
They have just removed the 1. part are are using the 5 or 6 part instead.
Then they have updates to the JDK, so for instance JDK update 5, is what would be known as JDK 1.6.5
You need to gp to this site to download the lastest JDK The latest version is probably the best version to get, it is JDK Update 18.

Download jdk from the official site of SUN:
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
and if you want then you can also download NetBeans,it is a good IDE for many types of programming languages and exceptionally good for java.
