It depends on the price and condition, the age doesn't matter at all.
I wouldn't say $245 is too much to spend (the bike on Craigslist) if it doesn't need any work done to it, you'd spend more than $45 just on a new set of tires; what else can you buy for that price? The seller will surely take $200 anyway. It's a nice looking and unusual 10-speed bike.
