How do I go about getting customers?

for my resume & typing service.

I already have a website (that's produced nothing more than the bill), I also have a small ad in the yellow pages (producing even less) I would like to have customers.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to attract customers?

Thanks to all that respond.

One marketing expert suggested placing tiny yellow pages ads prompting people to Call Out 24 hr Information Line. Some callers will listen to free advice for up to 15 minutes. If you apply for an invitation to Google Voice (in beta test) you can get a free 2nd phone number with voicemail tricks like messages in your email with recorded and text transcript versions.

Yea typing is just not what it once was, virtually all of the data entry job offers on the internet are scams, automation does so much these days.

You might expand on the resume thing, with a site offering general employment advice, soft selling the resume part, giving job search and interview advice, perhaps even listing local job ads, information like that on a web site attracts search engine traffic.

Here are some free classified sites, you usually would report your ad weekly.
